VOLUNTEER CREDITS AND INCENTIVES

This section explains how volunteers earn credits and incentives. Reimbursement forms and receipts must be submitted before the current conclusion of the season. All credits are issued as TU credits unless otherwise noted.

 STPA BOARD MEMBERS

  • STPA will credit Registration Fee for 1 swimmer.
  • STPA will credit USA Membership Fee for 1 swimmer.
  • If a board member also serves as an Official:
      - STPA will credit USA Membership Fee for 1 swimmer (no receipt needed).
      - 2 swimmers: STPA will credit USA Membership Fee for 1 swimmer (no receipt); the second swimmer’s USA Membership fee requires a reimbursement form and receipt.

- STPA will credit Facility fees for 1 swimmer at each session.

CO-PRESIDENTS

  • STPA will pay the USA Membership for 1 swimmer.
  • STPA will credit the splash fees and facilities fees for one swimmer at all home meets.
  • For the Co-presidents working as Meet Manager at our home 8 and under and 10 and under meets when their child is not swimming the STPA will credit the Co-president's escrow account by $20.

 OFFICIALS IN TRAINING

  • STPA will pay for one shirt (twice a year) and the background check fee (reimbursement form and receipt required).*
  • STPA will pay USA Membership fee for Official in Training.*
  • Hospitality access only when available.

*Credits will be given upon completion of all training (On Deck and Online)

OFFICIALS AND REFEREES

  • STPA will pay for 1 shirt (bi-annually) and background check fee (Receipt required).
  • STPA will pay USA Membership for Official / Referee (Receipt required).
  • STPA will credit USA Membership Fee for 1 swimmer.
  • STPA will credit splash and facility fees for 1 swimmer at the session the parent officiates, otherwise STPA will credit $20.*
  • If 2 parents officiate same session with 1 swimmer, STPA will credit splash fees for 1 swimmer at the session the parent officiates, plus a $20 credit. STPA will credit facility fees for 1 swimmer per meet.*
  • If 2 parents officiate same session with 2 swimmers, STPA will credit all splash fees for that session for each swimmer. STPA will credit facility fees for 1 swimmer per meet.*
  • Hospitality access only when available

*Splash fees reimbursements are credited during Home Meets.

 

ESCROW ADMINISTRATOR AND TREASURER

  • STPA will credit the USA Registration fee for 1 swimmer.
  • STPA will waive volunteer requirements for the season.

OFFICIAL’S TABLE VOLUNTEER (Console/Computer)

  • STPA will credit splash and facility fees for 1 swimmer at the session the parent volunteers, otherwise STPA will credit $20.*
  • If 2 parents volunteer same session with 1 swimmer, STPA will credit splash fees for 1 swimmer at the session the parent officiates, plus a $20 credit. STPA will credit facility fees for 1 swimmer per meet.*
  • If 2 parents volunteer same session with 2 swimmers, STPA will credit all splash fees for that session for each swimmer. STPA will credit facility fees for 1 swimmer per meet.*

*No credit given for computer/console person in training. Credit only given to one console and one computer person per session.

 PARENT LIAISON

  • STPA will credit the USA Registration fee for 1 swimmer.*

  *In order to receive this credit, the Parent Liaison must work 2 full seasons.
